Sorry everyone, the weath isn't cooperating so we're moving this event to Saturday May 2. Meet for breakfast outside McKernan Community Center on at 10am, and bring a plate and cutlery to reduce waste. When everyone's finished eating we'll distribute cleanup equipment, break up into teams, and assign zones for cleaning within the community. To help us to prepare sufficient food and cleaning kits, please register yourself and family members.

The Garneau Community League has invited the residents of McKernan to join them in a free learn-to-curl event at the Granite Curling Club this Sunday, February 8 from 1:30 - 3:30pm. Children aged 5-12 are permitted but require helmets and must be accompanied by an adult while on the ice. Please bring a pair of CLEAN indoor shoes. Register here .
