MOVING? SPRING CLEANING?


Don’t dump your garbage in the alley — bring it to our Big Bin Event!


Sunday, April 30, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m McKernan Community Centre parking lot


There is no charge to drop off items but you MUST be a community league member (memberships will be available)


ACCEPTED: old couches/chairs, small furniture, small appliances, regular household refuse, yard waste, landscaping debris, recyclables


WE CANNOT ACCEPT: mattresses, box springs, hazardous waste materials, tires, oil/gas or propane tanks, paint cans, appliances with compressors ( fridges and freezers ). These must be taken to a City of Edmonton Eco-Station

Great news about BigBin event. I'm curious though because the city of Edmonton big bin page (2022 granted) says mattresses, fridges, freezers, and tires were accepted. Is this a change, do you know?

Ahh, thanks for the clarification. Btw the photo with this announcement does show mattresses :-)
