Are you interested in recreation? Would you like to see better rec opportunities close to McKernan?
The Rollie Miles Rec Centre project is a proposal to develop the area next to Strathcona High School into a local recreation centre, but city funding is limited. The Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues is looking at new funding models that could bring developers on board to bring this project to fruition.
McKernan is looking for someone to participate in a workshop in August about this project, to represent the community and to hear and discuss ideas.
